Are you the Black Pot Cooking Master? Well put your wrist where your mouth is and get to cooking!

The 1st Annual Black Pot Cook-Off is a friendly competition of anything you can cook in a black pot. Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Judge's Choice winners and the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place People's Choice winners. 

Who will be crowned the Black Pot Cooking Master?

Black Pot Cook-Off Rules:

  • $50 Team Entry Fee (4 Person Team)

  • Cooking Teams Can Set Up Starting @10am

  • Judging starts at @3pm

  • Teams must cook a minimum of 2 gallons (8 quarts)

  • All cooking must be done on site.

  • Teams may use any meat, but NO SEAFOOD! 

  • Teams must provide bowls & utensils for the public.

  • PD3 Foundation will supply containers for judging.

  • Teams must provide their own table, cooking equipment, and all other items needed.

  • Teams are responsible for cleaning up their space. 

  • Team Captain is responsible for conduct of the Team.

  • Awards given in 3 Categories: 

    • Judges Choice: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners

      • 1st Place:   $500 + Award Paddle

      • 2nd Place: $250 + Award Paddle

      • 3rd Place:  $150 +  Award Paddle

    • People's Choice: 1st place winner only

      • 1st Place: $100  + Award Paddle
